GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Every student of TCES is expected to develop a critical and creative thinking skills. To achieve this, the institute offers short term programmes to students, outside the syllabus. All students are invited to participate in these programmes since they form an important and integral part of education at Xavier's.
2. The institute has an audio-visual centre which is used both for instructional and educational purposes, during and outside institute hours.
3. Students are encouraged to organize class socials, picnics, entertainment programmes and such like activities, They are also urged to contribute essays, reports, poems, paintings, etc. to the student wall paper, spread out on boards. These student boards are an interesting forum for exchange of news and views of student life.

KINDLY NOTE
1. Students must make it a point to get involved in institute activities as organizers, or as participants.
2. No student is permitted to miss lectures or practicals because of any involvement in any extracurricular activity.
3. Opportunities are given to as many students as possible to represent the institute at various competitions. As a policy preference is usually given to fresh participants. The more experienced students are allotted the responsibility of organizing institute programmes.
